“Anna Segal, is one of the leading and most important Israeli composer. An incredible innovative artist not only as an international acclaimed composer, but also as educator in top institutions, orchestrating different works, writing librettos to theatre plays, Ballet, and Children stories. I had the privilege to perform many of her works, and gave her commissions for orchestral, vocal, theatrical, tangos and arrangements. All the commissioned works were performed under my baton with my former orchestra, the Berliner Symphoniker at the great hall of the Berliner Philharmonie…”
Lior Shambadal Former Music Director or the Berliner Symphoniker (1997-2019)
“Ms. Segal has her own musical language which is expressive, colorful, dramatic and effective. Anna has a strong point of view and an engaging personality. She explores and is open to the many genres and uses to which music can be put. ”

New Hampshire Music Festival
“I have known Anna since 2018 when she was commissioned by Roger Bobo, legendary tubist, and brass pedagogue to write a piece for tuba and piano that would be premiered at the International Women’s Brass conference that was held at Arizona State University.
Roger Bobo has pieces dedicated to him by William Kraft, Roger Kellaway, to cite a few, and refers to Anna as the “true genius”. Her writing is very sensitive, energetic, and moving. There is a need for more meaningful projects such as what Anna delivers in our artistic world, and I am very honored and excited to perform her music.”
